Very nice weather, great food and nice organisation was crowned by back to back success as Janina Gauthier placed second in the first go-round and fought to claim the Non-Pro Futurity Reserve Champion with JG Reining Horses's Don Juan De Marco
The first go round of the Limited Open Futurity was won by Jonathan and Claudia Haselsteiner's Mia Reinman and 3rd place was Thompson and Kilndt's Watt A Jacs Son.
Jonathan and Watt A Jacs Son returned strong in the finals with a 217 and claim the Futurity's Reserve Champion title. With also great effort, Mia Reinman claims 3rd place.
And last but not the least, Jonathan and Nimble Star were Open Trophy Reserve Champion and Novice Horse Open Reserve Champion.

24.10.08 - NRHA of France Futurity, Mooslargue
Despite bad weather and bad food, Mooslargue was a good first show for our 3 year olds. Janina Gauthier and Don Juan De Marco placed 3rd in the Limited Non-Pro with a very nice and clean ride.
Jonathan and Watt A Jacs Son, owned by Marianne Thompson and Team Klindt scored a 142.5 and placed 4th in the Limited Open Futurity and 5th in the Open Futurity. Topsail Steppi, owned by Anja and Dieter Wolf placed 5th and 6th respectively.

04.09.08 - AMERICANA, Augsburg
It was a great start for us. Jonathan was high score of the Maturity 1st Go-Round (218) with Nimble Star and a Finalist in the 3 Year Old Futurity with Claudia Haselsteiner's Mia Reinman. So Far So good.
After and even better performance in the 1st Go-Round of the Trophy, the pair got a very disapointing No-Score due to a barely noticeable half twist in the curb chain. That really sucks..
But what goes down must come back up and Nimble and Jonathan gave it all in the Open Maturity Finals to Claim the Championship Titel, Buckle and Trophy Saddle with a sizzling 224.

18.08.08 - Just Slide 2, Danemark
Following a 2 day clinic at the show location, Just Slide's $7000 Added Open Trophy was quite a show. After unfortunately drawing 1st, Nimble and Jonathan had to give it all out to get a score that would hold up for twenty some entries that would follow. It did until Swedish Wheeling Eldorado and Peter Lhundberg's very nice ride beat it. Good Ride though!
I am also very proud of all my guys who attended the clinic. Thanks for the trust you put in my judgement and great job!
08.08.08 - Austrian Paint Championship
A fairly nice place to show but not so fair to me. Saturday's Jackpot Open class was won by I Am A Fancy Dreamer and Jonathan but unfortunately unrecognized. The pair would have had to participated in Friday's Trail to combine score and then get placed. But that's ok, it was the plan.

What wasn't the plan was in Sunday's Austrian Championship class, in which Fancy and Jonathan were Reserve Champion of, only rewarded both Austrian rider and horse. In Jonathan's case, only Fancy was Austrian. So no Silver Medal, not even an announcement after standing 2 hours in a very boring Ribbon Presentation.
13.07.08 - Bavarian Summer Classic 2008
Despite bad weather, the athmosphere in our barn was continually sunny. Hats off to Carina Petschl and Reiny and Andy and Coffee, Novice Youth Co-Champions.
Following this, Jonathan tried out two 3 Year Old Futurity mare Topsail Steppi, owned by Anja and Dieter Wolf in Sunday's Junior Reining Open and placed 3nd with a 142 and was Reserve Champion with Richard Hagl's Smart Beauty Lena with a 143.5. Despite and very rough ground, they tried hard and showed confidence in the show pen.

In the middle of it all, Nimble Star, owned by Claudia Haselsteiner was once again a pleasure to have around. A win in the Senior and two Reserve Champion in the Senior Reining Open and Novice Horse Open while getting ready for the Trophy Class was very motivating.
They started pattern 2 with a nice set of circle but a precious 1 point penalty which only served them to kick it up a knotch for the rest of the pattern, and they did. Plus ones and halfs in Turns, stops a left circle led to a 148 and a 3rd Trophy win for them.
13.05.08 - Bayerischen Meisterschaften 2008
A very sunny 7 days in Kreuth with many horses to school and ride around. The show horses did very well too. Jonathan was Open Senior Reining Champion and Open Lawson Trophy Champion with Nimble Star owned by Claudia Haselsteiner. Jonathan and Chic May Dance, owned by Christl and Kurty Hausler, won monday's Open Junior Reining.

Jonathan and Kristl & Kurt Hausler's Chic May Dance demonstrated Reining at the Pferd International in Munich. The mare showed off very gracefully in every maneuver despite the size and footing of the presentation area.

07.03.08 - Bavarian Spring Classic
For starters, hats off to Hans Reiter and Princess on his Rookie Reserve Champion with his first score of 70. Congratulations also to Marget Hillebrand, 3rd place with a 69.5. Last but not the least, Great job to Luisa and Cowboy on you two 6th places among many, your first two times in the show pen ever.
Jonathan was 3rd place in the Novice Horse Open with Boggies Lil Crackerjac and Senior Reining Open Co Champion and Reserve Champion aboard JP Caramel Twist.

07.03.08 - Clinics
We are welcoming Matt Mills here in Vaterstetten this coming week-end of March 13-15th on a 3 day clinic. We are looking forward to working with him.
April 19-20th, Francois Gauthier is coming also to Vaterstetten to give a clinic. We sure look forward to this as well.
07.02.08 - Recent News
The move to our new facility is working out very well. The horses seems to like it over there and that's pretty much what matters the most. Our show season will start in march, we look forward to seeing everyone. We invite everyone to come and visit us and wish you all a great 2008 season.
05.01.08 - JG Reining Horses Relocates!
It is with great pleasure that we announce our relocation to Gabi & Richard Hagl's Reitsportanlage in Vatterstetten.
To be effective February 1st, we look forward to another succesfull year and look forward to making new friends and new buisness. We thank Richard & Gabi for welcoming us and hope to bring extra professionalism, horsemanship and fun to this great place.
I want to thank personnally Kati and Andy Schneider for giving me great help and opprtunities in getting started. You have played a a role in my career as it officially started on your Hilltop Ranch. A nice and warm place my and my horses will miss. I wish you guys a great well deserved retirement.

02.08.07 - Rein-O-Mania, Kreuth
Jonathan and Lil Ruf Cody, owned by Rolf and Monica Reinschmidt, score 221.5 to tie for 1st place in Sunday's Open Bronze Trophy. The pair also made a test run in saturday's Intermediate Open scoring a 217.5 earning 1st Place. This brings me to announce that Jonathan will be travelling with Lil Ruf Cody and Nimble Star to Mallorca's Western Festival in September. Very much looking forward to going and thanks the the owners of these great horses for giving me this opportunity.
I also want to congratulate Bernard Fonck on winning the Open Futurity and Cira Baeck on winning both the Non-Pro Futurity and the Derby. You guys kicked ass!
26.05.07 - FEI European Championship
Jonathan and Nimble Star, owned by Claudia Haselsteiner, score a 219.5 for 4th place in Saturday's Open Trophy earning fourth place.
Congratulations to Team Germany (Nico Hormann, Stefan Breug, Emanuel Earnst, Oliver Stein, Grisha Ludwig) on their Gold Medal. Great Work!
26.07.07 - Bavarian Summer Classic
After winning the Novice Horse Open, both Senior Reining classes and earning a Register Of Merit(ROM) aboard Nimble Star owned by Claudia Hasselsteiner, The pair went on to win the Open Bronze Trophy with a sizzling 148. The shouts and cheers from the audiance was very motivating and we thank everyone for their support.

A Reserve place in the Junior Reining aboard Kristel and Kurty Hausler's Chic May Dance followed a win of the Vatterstetten Junior Reining class.
Cattabar Jac, owned by Klaus Hufnagl, was a pleasure to have around. His first horse show, the 4 year old placed 4th in the Junior Reining scoring a 71.5. Looking foward to showing him again.
26.05.07 - Bavarian Classic Follow Up
Quite a fun and sucessful show for us and our customers. The first class we showed in was the Senior Reining Open on friday. Jonathan was Champion and Reserve Champion aboard Jac Bar Lewis owned by Thomas Reidmeyer. The 13 year old gelding showed great. Jonathan then showed the Junior Reining Open on saturday and was Champion and Reserve Champion on Chic May Dance owned by Kristel and Kurty Hausler and Hickory Moonshine owned by Ron and Vanessa Stienen. Jonathan show Hickory again in the Bronze Throphy. He showed very good but was off pattern and was given a score of 0. %^$%# Happens... The last class of the week-end was The 2nd Junior Reining Open. Jonathan was Reserve Champion aboard What A Genuine Pep owned by Thomas Voggentaller and 3rd on Chic May Dance. Viel Dank to all the owners for giving us the opportunity to train and show these very nice horses.
10.05.07 - Just a few recent news
We got some very nice horses that came in recently and we look foward to working with them. We thank the owners for trusting us into training your horses. We are taking a few horses to the AQHA / NRHA Show in Kreuth at the end of the month. Most of them are on our web site available for sale and are riding very well. You should come and see them or visit us at the show. Hopefully they wiil be sold before tthat which would spare me the stress... Kidding..
15.04.07 - Bavarian Spring Classic, Kreuth
It was a short but very fun and exciting trip this past week-end. Jonathan was Reserve Champion and 4th in the Senior Reining Open on Sunday aboard Jack Bar Lewis, a 13 yaer old gelding owned by Thomas Riedmeier. Jonathan enjoyed showing him and we thank Thomas for letting us show him.
Also congratulation to Volker Schmit on his great ride in the NRHA Open and to Martin Steck for a great job with Shotgunner. He looked better than ever.

Earlier today, Jonathan was SBH Reserve Champion with Chic May Dance. We have a lot of faith in this mare and we thank Christl and Curty Hausler for giving us the opportunity to train and show this talented daughter of Puro Chic.
04.04.07 - Easter Show, Kreuth Follow Up
Good start as Jonathan and Peppys Whiskey Sprat won the Jackpot Open. Jonathan says the horse warmed-up great and showed great. It is fun to show a willing, talented and well-prepared horse. Many thanks to Thomas for letting us show him.

26.02.07 - Clinics in March
Jonathan is out for two clinics in March. The first one is the second week-end of March, Saturday and Sunday, 10th and 11th at Enja Lieor Quarter Horses.
The following week-end Jonathan flys to Denmark for an evaluation of the country's team for the next European Championship. Really looking foward to working with them.
